Have times really changed? Are men and women as traditional as they use to be? For example what happened to the gentlemen you would see consistently opening and closing the door for his date? What about the women who would make a habit of saying please and thank you as a common courtesy. Is this a result of the times, or have we forgot how to communicate?
Communication is important in all matters of relationships; rather it is personal or professional. It would benefit people to make an effort to say
please and thank you. Good manners can sometimes be the difference between having an opportunity or not. Think about it, if individuals interviewed for the same position and were equally qualified what would happen? Who would they hire? Well duh it’s a no brainer, the one with the best attitude. Remember attitude is important, but the key is communication.
